We are pleased to announce that the “X. World Congress on High Altitude Medicine and Physiology & Mountain Emergency Medicine” will take place in Bolzano, Italy, from 25-31 May 2014.
The World Congress on High Altitude Medicine and Physiology & Mountain Emergency Medicine is an initiative of the International Society for Mountain Medicine (ISMM) and the International Commission for Alpine Rescue (ICAR MEDCOM) to share knowledge and competence in the broad field of mountain medicine, including high altitude physiology and patophysiology, high altitude illness, cold injuries, hypothermia, trauma and rescue, in an exchange between scientists, paramedics and mountaineering professionals.
